Did you ever noticed the help we receive when we run our pancake breakfasts? You can be sure and find Boy Scout Troop 54 serving food and cleaning tables. On June 8th during the troop court of honor ceremony - our Grand Knight presented Troop Leader Bob Sammons with a certificate and a gift from the Council. Pictured below is Bob, GK Symes and Eagle scout Samuel Zadrozny.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our web site. We are a council that is experiencing a new birth. Last year we earned the distinction of a Council Double Star award - which recognized our efforts to invigorate Catholic men to live out their faith. Contact any one of our members - see our picture on the officer page.

Winter 2008

The Knights of Columbus Council #6862 of Ballston Lake, NY has earned the distinction of a Double Star Council for the 2006-2007 fraternal year.  The organization’s headquarters, located in New Haven, Connecticut, made the announcement. The award recognizes overall excellence in the areas of membership recruitment (reaching 200% of quota, thereby making it a “double star”) and retention, promotion of the fraternal insurance program, and sponsorship of service-oriented activities. The award was presented to the membership by State District Deputy Dennis Taylor at a special ceremony held on November 6, 2007 at Our Lady of Grace Parish.
