Knights of Columbus (KOC) Volleyball Tournament - September 28, 2008
The KOC tournament turned out to be a success despite the weather forecasts. The meteorologists had a real tough time predicting this weekend's weather. What looked to be a complete wash out on Saturday - turned out to be a rather nice day. Unfortunately, we didn't know this ahead of time. The tournament was moved to the rain date of Sunday, September 28th - based upon a Thursday evening forecast that sounded like a Nor'easter was going to hit the area. The original date of September 27th turned out to be completely dry. On Sunday, it rained hard during the first match of pool play - but it didn't rain again until the final match of the day. Overall, the temperatures were very warm, the humidity was very high and the skies were partly sunny during the day. Attached are some of the pictures taken from my camera that day. Enjoy!

Ever been to a volleyball tournament? Well - you don't know what you're missing. One of the largest in the area is organized by the OC Ski Club out of Albany, NY. They have a yearly tournament at Maple Ridge Ski Area. In past years the tournament was held at the Altamont Fair Grounds. Its always a blast. Cobleskill Volleyball Tournament - 2008
